Laser Hair Removal

Using a cool tip laser, hair reduction is extremely effective. This is a non-invasive laser designed to remove undesired hair from all parts of the body. The hand piece is actively cooling the skin as the laser is guided over the area to be treated and pulses of light are delivered.

The cooling mechanism of the hand piece allows for a virtually pain free procedure. The laser impairs the growth of hair by disabling the hair follicle. This laser is safe and effective on all skin types, from pale to those with darker pigmentation.Pre treatment instructions include refraining from sun exposure for two weeks and the use of sun block is recommended. The specific area to be treated must not be waxed or tweezed three weeks prior to treatment.

Most people require 4-6 treatment sessions that are spaced 6 weeks apart. Yearly maintenance is offered as well. Individual sessions or treatment packages can be purchased.

Immediately after treatment you will have reddening of the skin that lasts anywhere from 15 minutes to one hour. After your treatment, the area is cleansed and sun block is applied. You may return to your routine activity.
